Vista Gets Taste of Linux Medicine

It's humorous and sad, all at the same time. Vista users are closer than ever to the woes that used to plague many Linux users. The fact is that if you need NVIDA graphics to work with your favorite game, you just may be out of luck here.

Generally speaking, it looks as if existing peripherals are in pretty good shape. As such, Vista’s hardware detection is not really an issue per se. Unfortunately, when you stop by your local retail store to pickup a new graphics adapter, you may find that their idea of "Vista Ready" and consumer’s idea of "Vista Ready" is quite different.
