Geier's book covers largely the planning and deployment of voice over WLAN as well as the software involved. In fact, you don't get to the nuts and bolts of actually installing a VoWLAN System until Chapter 8. I'm kind of "hands on" so naturally, it was my favorite chapter.

I don't know if the author or Cisco Press intended this, but to me, the book read like an equal mix of ROI justification, basic wireless networking and the VoWLAN material. Numerous case studies are sprinkled throughout the book highlighting how various companies have benefited from deploying VoWLAN. I kind of drew the line when one case study discussed the benefits of this solution for a person's home, but I could see how smaller businesses and up could reap rewards.
