This article will show you how to install Debian and Fluxbox with the basic programs to have a light weight Linux running either on your Laptop or Desktop computer.

Linux is well know to be a great option to use on old hardware PCs, because it has lots of light applications, but you can also use it on new hardware with these light applications to have a fast and great performing Operating System. If you like your PC flying, or, you usually use your PC for development (compiling) or charge heavy applications, like VMware with multiple Virtual machines, you may need to configure your PC with a light window manager, and light applications.
