Today marks the official launch of a new open source project. Utkarsh is an operating system based on Linux and localized in the Gujarati language, spoken by more than 5.5 million in India's Gujarat state and worldwide. Utkarsh (which means progress or rising high) version 0.1 is now in beta testing, and the team is bubbling with ideas for future growth.
