"Windows is a state-of-the-art operating system designed for state-of-the-art computers," he said, not the pitiful dumbed-down thing the EC wants to foist on the poor unsuspecting European consumer - and calling it Windows amounts to compulsory licensing of the Windows trademark, a defense that Microsoft is going to use when it appeals the EC's negative antitrust decision to the Court of First Instance in Luxembourg.
