The Latest Benchmarks Of The Linux 3.13 Kernel
While there's already been many performance benchmarks of the Linux 3.13 kernel on Phoronix through numerous articles, following this weekend's release of Linux 3.13-rc7, I ran a fresh performance comparison.
For some quick benchmarks to start off another week of open-source and Linux benchmarking at Phoronix are new results comparing the Linux 3.13-rc7 kernel against the latest stable 3.11/3.12 kernels: 3.11.10 and 3.12.6, respectively. These benchmarks were done from the ASUS Zenbook Prime UX32 Intel ultrabook that's been featured in several Phoronix articles in recent weeks.
Those interested in seeing these fresh Linux 3.13 kernel benchmarks, I've uploaded all the data I did this weekend via the Phoronix Test Suite to OpenBenchmarking.org. These results can be found within the 1401063-PTS-LINUX31357 result file.
These are just some of the teaser results, see the rest at OpenBenchmarking.org along with more near-final 3.13 kernel tests in the days ahead on Phoronix.
