I met up with my friend Ian this morning. He's an incredibly talented guitarist. We enjoyed a coffee together and I let him hear my new track, Another Hour or So. He's taken it with him to begin laying down the guitar parts. I can't wait to hear his interpretation, and share the Day 5 video soon!

Robbie Ferguson sits outdoors at a Starbucks coffee shop, with professional musician, Ian Thurston.

Got home to a bursting water main joint. It had sprung a pin-sized leak that was spraying a pressurized stream of icy-cold water into my laundry room. I ran to the local hardware store, grabbed a pipe cutter, a length of copper pipe, and some solder-free joints. Within 30 minutes I had the water back on.

It's a temporary fix, but means we can use the water, and can hire a plumber to come do it right at a regular (non-emergency) rate. That's a win!

~$60 for the parts, including the pipe cutter.

The L joint had sprung a very small leak, but the water main is under high pressure, so it was spraying a stream of water into our laundry room.
My DIY temporary repair to get us up and running fast; I cut out the bad section, and formed a new L joint with solder-free connectors.
