Introducing the Window Maker Live CD

Paul Seelig announced last evening, March 11th, the immediate availability for download of the Window Maker Live CD 2012-03-11 Linux operating system.

Window Maker Live CD is a Linux distribution based on Debian Linux and the lightweight Window Maker window manager.

Being based on Debian 7 Wheezy, the new release brings various changes, such as an enhanced Window Maker root menu, with the ability to backup and restore the preferences, and a customizable AutoStart management feature.

Other improvements to Window Maker Live CD 2012-03-11 include full user control for the applications menu entries and layout, enhanced integration of the GTK2-Step theme, new theme for the Debian installer, automatic update of the GRUB boot menu, new backintime-gnom app, and an enhanced wmlive-fix-grub-install script.
