Ricardo writes a tutorial to help people new to the Linux 3D Desktop called: Mini Dev Doc -- Adding a new application

[He explains] how to add a new ICON to your LG3D development installation. Although Sun is developing a setup tool for lg3d so that you are able to customize your views in the 3D environment, it is not ready yet and as I like trying new applications out and I would like to add those applications to the Glass bar at the bottom so that I can actually use them every now and again, I though there must be more people out there wanting to do the same so here is my simple and easy instructions in how to achieve this goal.



Based on the CVS tree installed using our “CVS.LG3D.INSTALL_v0.6.1” script. I will telling you what files to edited and how add a third party application to your lg3d launcher pad.
