It has long been believed that video editing with desktop Linux was not as "consumer friendly" as most people would like it be. Thankfully, one application has come along to help change this perception - Kino.

Kino is a unique program that provides easy to use features while maintaining a small enough learning curve that even the new video producer can wrap their minds around. The UI is rather straightforward and is feature rich enough to keep most users delighted with the end result.
