How to configure proxy server in fedora core3? |

What kind of proxy sever? For a simple to use one for http/https, I'd use privoxy. If you just have to have a caching proxy with all of the bells and whistles, there's always squid, but the configuration of that beast is a daunting task. If you need a general (port forwarding style) proxy, I like aproxy.pl because it's simple and written in perl. Of course there's always ssh, a favorite just because it is there (good if you need encryption though). |
