The biggest problem synching with newer Palms is not establishing communication and getting bits to move. It's supporting the assorted software. For example, the last time I looked, none of the free programs worked with the expanded memo format that is used on newer Palms. Got a 6k memo? Prepare to lose 2k on the sync, or, if you manage to get it down, prepare not to see it all because the desktop application can't comprehend a memo being that big. Maybe the latest versions fix this... |
