Software Patents rejected by EP!!!

The news are spreading like wildfire, but they need to be here too: the European Software Patent directive has been totally rejected in second reading by 648 votes against 14 (with 18 abstentions)!!!!! The European Commission has already stated that it would not make a new draft, so the battle has really been won, at least for the European level and for a few years! |

Cool! And also from Europe, the city of Vienna will use Wienux (Debian KDE) on its desktops. |
