By accident I loaded a nightly, release candidate last night to find a minor problem that I encountered (with no easy, obvious fix) was taken care of. Moreover, a puzzling flashing blue band indicating location of a menu selection (should be a solid blue with no flash) had appeared on recently on my Beta 1. This behaviour was not consistent, nor fully reproducible even on the same scan of the menu. I reported this last night expressing my skepticism that the browser was the root cause. Nonetheless, loading the real Beta 2 this morning the flashing blue band has disappeared. I stand in awe of the competence of the Mozilla Firefox developers! |
