I read the headline to this story having just read that MS have just brought out some new Shared Source license that are at first appearances a giant step toward their own GPL or MPL license. Makes them seem inconsistant if it's the case. |

The best part of licensing chaos is that Microsoft changes it's licenses with some regularity -- and doesn't tell you. My favorites are service packs that manage to bring along new license restrictions. Give me open source "chaos" any time. |
