Which would a prefer.. A broken OS that might "eventually" use all my hardware or one that does, but might give the hardware people power over it? Wait... They already do, by not supporting it at all. Duh!! Seriously though, I don't think its impossible for the two to co-exist. Any attempt to "control" Linux is going to fail since such control invariably means breaking the foundation of the license. Control is only lost if we "allow" them to dictate terms, instead of simply telling the ones trying to do that to kiss our collective backsides. |
