this is great news - I just hope the manufacturers and novel can follow through. I especially hope Novel showed them the wobbly windows. 10.1 seems really solid - installed it and has been running ever since on my amd64. working with the gnome desktop and xgl right now - all I can say is nice, very nice. performance is not effected at all by xgl (well okay maybe in logging on and starting up - but doing everyday work is not effected at all). I have an ati 7000 64meg agp video card. It's purdy too!! |
