Thanks for the explantions you have given as this article too's and fro's. Makes for interesting reading not only from the position of those of us advocating open standards but of those who see things rather differently. My take on this is that if we were to go back to days of yor, with no PC's and communication was via pencil/pen and paper. Can you imagine what would have happened if you could only write documents using MicroSofts Pens because with the paper that was available, this was the only pen where the ink was visible? A cheap pen from the local shop just wouldn't work!! |
