I read it all through and read some of the replies as well. The Linux kernel is moving along at a great pace with a good mix of features, drivers, cleanup and bugfixing. I hope distros ship the latest and greatest kernel because the kernel on the whole gets better every day, so therefore the best version to use is today's. I'm concerned that they've got 1260 active bugs and hope that they prioritize this. I think a bugfix release might be a good idea. |
