I've been using Synergy at work for about a month to share keyboard and mouse between my OS X workstation and my Kubuntu workstation and it is fabulous! Copy & Paste across platforms is just too awesome! |

I remember looking at it a couple years ago, but didn't have much practical need for it at the time. The article jogged my memory so I just installed it on my main workstation and my work laptop. Combine synergy with my new dual input LCD that lets me switch the active input in the menu, and I've got a full kvm (given, it takes a few seconds to swap inputs on the LCD, but that's tolerable). |
