  Neary says that he hasn't written any code in quite a while. The Latest versions of gimp have shown serious improvements, both in image quality, and, program features. If results are the benchmark, then gimp is indeed better off without Dave Neary. |

  jimf - Believe me, I have those thoughts more often than I would like to admit. OTOH -- Group dynamics are a very tricky thing. Neary may have done a lot of good things that we will never know about. And let us not forget -- There is one HELL of a lot more to software development than coding.  |
