Here's a funny for ya.
So my fileserver died the other day (that's NOT funny), so I've got the disks hooked up to a different machine now.
Anyway, at first I hooked the data disk up to the ide card I had it on before, but I suspect it might be bad, so I just hooked the disk up directly to the machine instead.
So it starts booting, looks at the disk, and gives me this:Quoting: /dev/hdb1 has gone 49710 days without being checked, check forced. I'm fairly certain the disk isn't that old.... ;) |

Haha. I suspect the bug may be fixed by now, considering that machine is a fairly old install (2.6.10 kernel) and I don't think I've updated it much. Yeah, I really should do a fresh install since it's in a new box and all now and down anyway. |
