I've posted yesterday an opposite installation tips. See http://vireso.blogspot.com/ I think having OpenSolaris as Dom0 gives you a lot of advantages. You may use zfs zvols as storage devices for your DomUs. This really makes backup, both full and incremental, easy and fast. Just use zfs snapshot, then zfs send commands.
