Debian Live CD - KDE4 beta4

To anyone interested, there is a liveCD of KDE4 beta 4 ~450MB ISO that has been put out by the Debian KDE team. http://pkg-kde.alioth.debian.org/kde4livecd.html I tried it out this morning myself, and must say that the KDE folks have been very busy. I still prefer the look and feel of KDE-2. Hopefully my antiquated theme, scheme and icons will still be displayable. I really do not like the default Kmenu design in KDE4. It was a mistake when Microsoft started hiding menu items behind glitz, it's still a mistake when KDE does it. |
