One aspirin taken before work can fix this... I've had severe RSI (not quite carpal tunnel but very painful) along with very sore wrists, and my doctor gave me that tip. Within 3 days it was cleared up. I game too so have a magnified risk. It's caused by inflammation. The tissues surrounding the tendons swell. Due to the increased resistance it feeds on itself and gets worse. The aspirin reduces the inflammation and within a week it's completely gone. Simple yet effective... no software needed. It's also good for your heart if you don't have issues which can cause aspirin to do more harm than good. Remember this next time your forearm has been hurting a few days from computing. 2 aspirin does no more good than one, so just take one. You'll feel normal again in a week and can stop taking it then until you need it again. Viz. |
