Another slow news day I suppose. We'll always have the "hey, that's not of my tribe so it sucks" business going on - it's as old as the hills. There's really no case for pinning it on "the linux community" as this writer does.

Quoting: Small note before continuing: “*nix” means Linux or Unix. The asterisk is there as a “wildcard” to signify both, or basically anything that ends in “nix”.

But Linux ends in nux.

See, this is why I dislike Ubuntu. If I dislike it Linux loses. Because I don't want Linux to lose, therefore I may not dislike it. What happened to my freedom to dislike Ubuntu? It's in the GPL I may use Ubuntu for whatever purpose I want, including the purpose of disliking it. Therefore I reckon this writer violates GPL. On a slow newsday I might mail GPL-violations about it and write an article complaining how Ubuntu takes away Linux' freedom to dislike Linux or Linus, or does Linux loose if you dislike Linus? Maybe Linux looses if you dislike anything at all? Because you should never mention your competitor, so if you dislike Microsoft and say so you harm Linux by mentioning one of its competitors. Sounds like: "Linux, what do you want to dislike today to harm it?". Probably Linux dislikes competitors. Well, I dislike Seinfeld. If he uses Linux I dislike him, I don't want to be associated with the fool. If he doesn't use it, he's a moron because anyone which doesn't use Linux is; except if they use BSD. Looking at the face of Seinfeld I'm afraid he doesn't. Therefore I dislike him. No matter if he uses Linux or not, it will harm Linux. I dislike Linux. In fact, I dislike disliking. But that's not a good idea, disliking to dislike is like dislike two times which makes Linux loose double. And I dislike Linux losing.

Yeah, that will be a good article. Especially if I am able to write it in such a way that it doesn't mention Ubuntu once. That may be a nice add for my article: "Come read my article! It completely ignores Ubuntu!". Ubuntu-haters will read it, and Ubuntu lovers will find it using the freakin' search server. No, I'm not going to mention Google. Gogol would be ashamed of the latter.
