WTF is 'business intelligence'? It's probably my own shortcoming, but every time some PR person pitches a 'business intelligence' product to me I fall instantly into a deep, refreshing sleep. |

It's for the PHBs who have no technical knowledge, and far too much time on their hands. I bill for my money, and my work knows down to a penny what I cost the firm, and what I bring in. If the PHBs had to justify their existence by quantifying what they add to the company, there would be far less PHBs. |
