6:02 PM EDT 		This reminds me of the news treatment of the Federal Reserve.

For decade after decade, their predictions go wrong, their efforts have the opposite effect they say they will, and yet people continue to bow and scrape, fawn over and repeat every pronouncement as if it were the droppings of some god.
