I am a huge supporter of Elive. There is one person in particular who can appreciate just how huge a supporter I am. I am captivated by it's contradicting ease and geeky-ness. Of course the shooting stars, Hollywood-level sound effects and blinding speed might have something to do with it. No, it's not your dad's Linux...probably not yours either but the distro I use now, Ubuntu Ultimate, comes with an E17 choice during boot. I find myself booting into it at least 8 or so times a week. I am totally enthralled with it. It surely isn't for everyone though. h |
