Wow, didn't know I had the ddate command, fscking hilarious! Figured out it's installed by linux-utils, whatever the heck it may be. Just works! Yet something else Windows-users miss. |

lol. Funny stuff. For some reason when I load the page it brings up a login box for cyberciti.biz (where he got the original post), so there's something odd in the page. |

Hey - Glad to see there are still people around who know what the post was about :) I couldn't reproduce the problem with the link on my page, but here it is, just in case Blogspot is goofing it up: http://www.cyberciti.biz/tips/linux-unix-discordian-calendar... Enjoy :) , Mike |

Today is Setting Orange, the 60th day of Chaos in the YOLD 3175 Yep, it works. I didn't even know that command existed. Good stuff. If anyone wants to read the Principia Discordia (as opposed to The Illuminatus Trilogy) there are links to the various versions on the bottom of the WikiPedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Principia_Discordia |

Indeed - It is a great read :) On my old version they've got a fake stamp on the back that reads: "Death To All Extremists!" that always cracks me up :) Sadly, even online now, it seems like that original purple cover edition isn't available. Like most of the books I enjoy, it's suffered horribly from my ham-fisted reading style ;) , Mike |
