by setting the permissions of the folder they are written to, to list only. the flash video still work fine. |

On my Debian Squeeze PC, I found what looks to be flash cookies in 2 different sub-folders within ~/.macromedia. I took a chance and deleted all of the contents of both sub-folders. Then I locked both of them (chmod 000). So far, so good -- Youtube videos still worked afterward. |
