Why? Yes, Sun stock is way down but the company is still profitable. Surely they can continue to go it on their own. I also would hate to see less competition in the server and workstation markets. |

I wonder why too. IBM's lock on the mainframe is in the 90-something percents. If they absorb Sun that leaves what, HP as the only other mainframe vendor? |
