It's a brilliant move now but if say a method to compromise that update for malicious purposes were produced it would instantly become the "most obviously stupid thing anyone could have done". |

I've removed Chrome from my Windows work machine, simply because there were these strange Google services that I had no prior knowledge of, running in the background. I now know what they are, or were, as Chrome has been removed, never to revisit my work machine again, so long as I have control of it.. |
