Thank you to Lxer for publishing this survey link.
It started as a dozen or so questions, and with user feedback, grew to 60 or 70 questions of interest. The response was overwhelming, much better than I ever expected. (I was called a Linux fanboi once, and a "hero" once...! ) With over 500 responses in the new (cool) Google Docs system, the survey results will remain available to anyone who can use it.
