No, Linux had about 2% global share for some time. Here is the source: http://www.w3counter.com/globalstats.php 1% is the Hitslink stat, but for various reasons they under-estimate Linux users: in short they don't count surfers without flash (or with Flashblock adblock) and have very few users from Latin America and Germany (where Linux adoption is higher than in the US). I should have mentioned my stat source in the article, I'll correct this. |
