Quoting:I won’t guarantee those cost savings of course, because how much or even whether you actually save money by going to the cloud is subject to debate, but you can use the Federal government as a lab of sorts. Watch what they do. The goals are ambitious and will be implemented in fairly short order (especially when considering this is the government we are talking about). Yeah, I wouldn't guarantee those cost savings, either. "Find your cost savings in 'the cloud'." Riiiiight. After all, the U.S. gubmint's doing it. And who knows more about saving money and implementing policies quickly and efficiently than our U.S. government agencies or Congress? Is there no journalistic integrity left? What planet is Ron from? Is this thing on? As Hunter Thompson would say, "They're really coming out of the woodwork for this one." |

Journalistic integrity. . . Thank you, dj. I was looking for another oxymoron. |

> Is there no journalistic integrity left? In the technical press? There never has been any. In the general press? Not for at least 20 years now, probably more. |

Quoting:Is there no journalistic integrity left? Something has to be done about that, but what would an alternative be like? http://standupforamerica.wordpress.com/2010/05/31/freedom-of... |

Try http://www.equuscs.com/personal-computing If you click Ready-to-ship under Portable Computing, you're asked to register, after which you can presumably see what they offer. I don't register for anything unless I'm really interested, but if you're interested you might want to. |
