I had the opportunity to spend a bit of time with Bruce a few years back, and honestly I would be flattered if he were to remember the exchange. I imagine Bruce Perens can make an insincere person extremely uncomfortable with his unwavering gaze as the two of you talk. Should you break eye contact with him, he immediately and overtly regains that contact as if that were the most important part of the conversation. and he is a wonderful soul. I was lucky to have the opportunity to talk with him. |

Saw him give a speech in 2000. It was on short notice, but he gave a bang-up presentation. |
