COM32R image

Can anyone tell me what that is, and offer any explanation as to why a USB thumb drive would suddenly not be COM32R image after one has updated the version of Linux on the device. |

Try typing help or live at the prompt (if one is offered). Seem to recall a bug in Startup Disk Creator or syslinux caused that... |

Unfortunately all I get is a message stating "vesamenu.c32: not a COM32R image" then the Boot: prompt, which then cycles. |

There's an error in one of the syslinux config files. It affected one of the Mint boot drives I tried to create a few months ago. Here's a thread on the problem: http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=60436= |
