The comments tell you all you need to know about how accurate (or really inaccurate) the infographic is. There is also a lot WordPress just cannot do that the others (Drupal and Joomla) easily can.

You need to have an account to view the comments.

Are you using Ghostery? I just checked from my browser, and I can't see tme either, unless I unblock the wer-bugs from Disqus.

@ Fettoosh

It's not a question of having a Discus account, but of blocking the Discus web-bug(s) (they used to be single-pixel transparent GIFs, they might have evolved a bit since I last checked) hidden on web-pages for tracking purposes.

Many people carefully control their cookie policies, but are unaware of Local shared objects (LSOs) a.k.a. "Flash cookies" or web-bugs.

Ghostery is a Firefox plug-in that blocks, lists, and gives the user individual control over such web-bugs. Before that the only way to control them was with a proxy. I used to use simple, transparent proxies like wwwoffle or Privoxy for this.

I only use Adblock Plus and NoScript, and NoScript is set to allow Disqus. If there is something else there that is being blocked that makes it necessary to view comments on this persons blog, then I will happily not bother viewing the comments or involving myself in any discussion on that person's bog.

Quoting:It's not a question of having a Discus account,

@BernardSwiss,

I didn't think so but I was responding to a note in a different comment.

Also, I don't have Ghostery add-on installed and the only add-ons I have are Adblock Plus 2.0.3, Adblock Plus popup Addon, and Customization for Affblock Plus.

@TA,

Have you tried it viewing with Chrome? This way you could determine whether it is Firefox or not.

BTW Disqus works just fine for me on other sites that use Disqus for comments.

Well, that rules out a proxy being responsible. If it isn't some Firefox extension, I would guess a corrupted file in your cache getting loaded instead of a good file off the net

(but I am, indeed, guessing).

Cleared the cache, still get same login form.

Only one explanation left -- the site isn't letting anyone from Australia join the discussion :-P

No unlike some sites, where allowing javascript for Disqus is all that is necessary, I have to allow javascript for that site as well.
