It's also a bunch of television programming i'll be sure and certain to not miss never viewing. I really could not give a rats arse which athlete wins loses of falls over in a hissy fit. |

I find I've actually lost interest in the Olympic Games -- my interest in the athletic marvels is now more than outweighed by the commercialism and Olympic Committee control-freakery over advertising, image, free speech, etc. In the UK things even crossed the line into making "unapproved" advertising a criminal offence (thus, for example, an "Olympic Pizza" parlour of decades-long standing not only had to replace their sign, but would have risked criminal charges for failing to do so -- it's gotten waaaay out of hand). |
