I had tears in my eyes when I read the message on the mailinglist. I think the subscription procedure should include: #include <stdio.h> int main () { int a = 5; if (a = 3); { puts ("a = 3"); return; } puts ("a = 5"); } Following the question "What is printed?". Then you may READ it. If you can answer "Why?", you may post. |

Sorry, I don't see the humor of trolling the kernel developers mailing list. It's childish and purile, not funny at all. |

Yeah, I'm with Caitlyn on this one... Unless it was a practical joke by one if the serious kernel devs, an inside joke, they should just lay off. Leave the inflammatory comments to Linus. |

I dunno. Admittedly, I am largely a user, but even the mention of discontinuing ethernet, multi-monitor, etc., etc., sends a shiver down my spine. Is it just my paranoia, or could this lead to yet another FUD campaign? Either way, I don't see the humor. And I do see it causing windows refugees pause. |

Quoting:could this lead to yet another FUD campaign?I certainly could see that happening. Some of the Windows fanbois seize on everything and anything they can to claim Linux is cr@p. |

Just tell them that Windows is cr@p too, but at least our cr@p gets updated more often. |
