  is to open source the voting machines. Verify each and every machine used, and have election results in a verifiable form with a clear audit trail. Not the hocus pocus system we have now. |

  Jeff, when the US was considered a union of sovereign States, whether a state was "all or nothing" was up to them individually.  And electors have, albeit rarely, changed their minds. But then, that was also a time when the powers up for grabs were far more limited and narrow than now. I don't think it violates the "non-political" rule to say that this is one seriously messed up system, soup to nuts.  |
