Yeah but OEL 5 gives you the option of the running OEL 6 kernel - huge I/O performance boost. |

If the patches Oracle uses to make the OEL 6 kernel aren't available, then the kernel developers need to having a talk with Oracle, preferable with lawyers standing by. If they are, you can apply them yourself. |
