So that settles it: Google is becoming Apple (locked-down/closed infrastructure through which everyone is expected to go, c.f. "iTunes(tm)"), Apple is becoming Microsoft, Microsoft is becoming IBM. Who will become Google? Mozilla? |

I see ppl lamenting the downward trend of firefox and google search, but I use neither. Mozzy still maintains Seamonkey, which is essentially Nestscape, in both function and spirit. More control, less crap. As for google, I've been using duckduckgo for 2 mos, now, and only miss google's cache function. I know where to find it if I need it. As for mozzy becoming the next google, god forbid. We cetainly DO NOT need another google. |
