I'm afraid you'll have to ask someone who can actually get their hands on one, just how hot it actually runs, under a typical, real world work load. :)

As powerful as this beast is it's going to be repurposed for all kinds of cool things like gaming machines and media servers. Then the price tag makes sense!

GREAT point and I think a definite +1 ! Seems to me that upcoming competition by other big companies' devices and knock-offs will rapidly drive down that humongou$ price range. That plus any new add-ons that the knockoffs should put into their Linksys-competing lowered-cost devices. Netgear, Trendnet, and other router-manufacturer competitors to the Belkin/Linksys cartel, comin' to ya soon enough!
