Clementine IS Amarok... just an older version (a fork of 1.4). It's still pretty nice though. One problem that I've encountered is that it's not SMB network friendly. I keep all my music on a server. And, it'd be nice to be able to access it remotely without having to launch it from a file browser and caching it to the local machine... One advantage of Clementine is that it has a preferences option to make the music player close completely if its window is closed. Annoying Amarok stays resident in memory unless you specifically kill it from its tray icon.
