I can't believe all of the hype surrounding the iPhone 6. We're literally talking about 3 year old technology that has already existed on other smart phones. Apple's marketing department must be populated by geniuses if they've managed to spin what is literally simply a larger version of an old product into this kind of hype! I've seen footage on the news of voracious Apple fanbois lined up for blocks around Apple stores, salivating to get their hands over these overpriced, out-of-date phones. It is truly ridiculous! |

I agree, cmost. And Apple gets so much FREE hype from the gushing media who drink the kool-aid and beg for more. Rush Limbaugh is especially guilty of spending excessive amounts of airtime hyping and praising Apple products for the non-converted. http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/daily/2014/09/19/it_s_iphone_day |

I no longer give this author any clicks. He specializes in posting incendiary topic headings then shovels BS. With him and a couple of others It's just a waste of time. |

The way i see it, it is not that their marketing department is top notch (tho i suspect it is, or was). The issue is that the press pretty much runs on Apple. I am living in a nation that is virtually 99% Windows, yet whenever i see a computer in the hands of a news presenter, reporter, even various ads where computer use is "generalized", it is a Mac. It has reached the point where i can tell what kind of classes a student is taking based on the computer used. Meaning that the press pays closer attention to Apple because they use the company's products in their daily work flow. |

Now, the Appleites are worrying if the iPhone 6 will be too big for their pockets (not pocketbooks). https://twitter.com/saywhatagain/status/513025949378834432/p... Well, they could (conceivably) have bigger problems... http://xkcd.com/1422/ |

The Appleites need not worry Seatex, the iPhone 7 will be smaller. and all the hype by the likes of Rush Limbaugh and his ilk is all self serving. They all own Apple stock. |

> The Appleites need not worry Seatex, the iPhone 7 will be smaller. Yes, I am aware of the smaller model. Just illustrating that the biggest iPhone is now approaching tablet size. > and all the hype by the likes of Rush Limbaugh and his ilk is all self serving. They all own Apple stock. Good point. And Rush is a shameless salesman for his interests. |
