Red Hat, under the thumb of IBM, used to say they were operating independently. Uh, no, Red Hat is a "political" arm of IBM now. You can pretty much ignore anything the Red Hat leaders are saying in the article. It's PR-speak for the ignorant. Can we create some kind of community Free Open Source Honor entity that goes into high handed organizations like Red Hat and cleans out the poop? I smell something. It's a color and sits on ones head.™ |
