My experience with podman is that it is "broken docker". I'm not talking about the command compatibility differences, but with regards to stability and operation. I've tried many times to use podman in latest and greatest RHEL clones, and every time, I am forced to go back to "real docker" (where I usually use something other than an RHEL clone). If you like running out of inodes (yep, it does that) and other weird issues, podman may be for you. |
