UPDATE as 10/13/26

Fedora 45 Server (nightly build as of 10/09/26 with KDE Plasma on top of it ) OverlayFS BTRFS setup works pretty stable on bare metal with BTRFS/XFS disk layout as shown below. However, Btrfs-Assistant behavior (e.g. stable recovery main instance via Overlay instances) in VENV significantly differs from Btrfs-Assistant functionality on bare metal. Content of file /etc/btrfs-assistant.conf is updated according to real subvolumes names generated during Anaconda Blivet GUI partition phase.

UPDATE as of 09/27/26

Schema proposed below may be reproduced on bare metal

Fedora-Server-dvd-x86_64-45-20260915.n.0.iso keeps the same behavior as Beta1.3. What exactly I mean. Anaconda Blivet GUI creates in partition phase

As of now Fedora-Server-dvd-x86_64-Rawhide-20260914.n.0.iso ; Fedora-Server-dvd-x86_64-Rawhide-20260913.n.0.iso don't any longer support partitioning schema in this post However, Fedora-Server-dvd-x86_64-45_Beta-1.3.iso been rolled forward up to 09/14/26 still does

Please, consult Google AI about content of the post. I also believe that TUX Machines is not the right place to evaluate the quality of post mentioned above. I may also confirm that Anaconda Blivet GUI power and flexibility are really amasing in meantime.
